It won’t have gone unnoticed that suicide is a massive problem in our society.  Statistics from 2019 show that there were 307 registered deaths due to suicide in N. Ireland which is equivalent to approx. 6/week.  Three quarters of those were males. In response to this shocking statistic we are planning on opening the church hall every Sunday evening from Sunday 1 March 2020 from 8.30pm – 10.00pm for men to come in and have space to chill, chat or simply get some head space for a short period of time from the routine of their lives.  There will be magazines, computer games, challenges to participate in and information on referrals agencies for additional help, as well as other men there to chat to.
